The Secret To Teleseminars That Sell
Yes, yes, yes to create a great teleseminar that sells, you gotta have a niche, you’ve got to solve a problem and you’ve got to have an email list.
(If you don’t have those things, then you can learn how to get them here.)
But if you DO have those things, and your teleseminars still aren’t selling or nobody is registering for them…then what the heck is going on?
I’m going to share the secret behind why some teleseminars kick butt all over the place….and why some teleseminars fall completely flat.
Here’s the secret that took me a long time to discover…and I want to share it so you don’t have to waste months trying to figure it out like I did!
Many of us have a dream of creating a teleseminar, sending out a single email, and having hundreds and thousands of people JUMP to register. Wouldn’t that be lovely?
But it does NOT work that way.
Here’s why…
Before you can create a teleseminar that sells - heads up…this is the secret! - you have to create an EQUAL ENERGETIC EXCHANGE with your email list by training them to take action.
You’re probably used to writing great articles, tips and recipes in your newsletter. But if your email list isn’t responding to teleseminars, then you are experiencing and UNEQUAL ENERGY EXCHANGE. You’re giving, but getting nothing in return.
So you have to train your list to take action.
That means that you must do the following two things CONSISTENTLY:
- Send your newsletter regularly, like it’s your religion, and give great VALUE.
- Create a personal note in the first section of your newsletter that leads into ONE specific “call to action”. A “call to action” is asking your reader to do one specific thing…click to read an article, click to schedule a session with you, or click to register for your teleseminar.
Three mistakes to avoid when creating an Equal Energy Exchange with your list…
- Not sending out your newsletter! (Have I impressed upon you how important it is to send your newsletter out regularly?
) - Burying your call to action at the bottom of your newsletter. Chances are your readers won’t read to the end, so put the most important part of your newsletter – the call to action – at the TOP.
- Putting 10 calls to action in your newsletter instead of ONE main call to action. A confused reader will NOT take any action. (If you have a cooking class and a workshop coming up, you can promote both in your newsletter. But only ONE of those events is the main call to action at the top of your newsletter.)
Now You Know The Secret…
And the secret is that creating teleseminars that sell happens long before you ever create your teleseminar! It happens as you create an EQUAL ENERGETIC EXCHANGE with your subscribers…you give great value in your newsletter, and they respond to your calls to action. When that happens, your money-making teleseminar is just around the corner!

“Everything You Want Is Outside Your Comfort Zone….”
This is one of my top 3 favorite quotes ever. Because, darn it, it’s true.
In the last year, I’ve been pulled out of every comfort zone I ever had….in my home, in my relationships, in my coaching career, in my acting career….and although I’m experiencing greater success and abundance than ever, going outside my comfort zone was not (and is not) always comfortable!
But it does get surprisingly easier….and easier!
I used to freak out every time I did something new, or took a leap. I would literally panic. It was like my ego was setting off every alarm bell I had to keep me from venturing outside my comfort zone.
Have you felt that too?
If you have, then I want to make a suggestion to you to help you turn those alarm bells OFF.
Whenever you feel that Oh-my-gosh-something-new-and-scary panic, instead of running from it, just gently step away from it and put yourself in the position of a neutral Observer. Look at that panicky feeling from a place of curiosity and compassion. That panic once had a positive intention, which most likely was to protect you. But you don’t need protection anymore, do you?
Start see that panic as a sign that you are going in the RIGHT direction. You are breaking out of an old pattern that is no longer serving you.
Instead of being an enemy, that panic is actually your FRIEND. It’s telling you that you are going exactly toward what you want most….which, of course, is outside your comfort zone.
That’s my mindset minute, and I’m stickin’ to it….

Is Growing Your Business Triggering Fear?

Eek! In your heart you want to grow your business but every time you think about it, or begin to take action, you’re beset with fear.
Relax, it’s okay. I’m not going to tell you to just “muscle through it.” That’s a very masculine approach that doesn’t work well for women. And, it often only serves to create more fear.
People see how much fun and success I have with my business and think that I’m long past the fear stage.
Uh, no, I’m not.
The difference now is, I’ve learned that fear is a natural stage that we all go through when we’re stepping up and playing bigger.
Along my path of growing my business from frustrating five figures just three short years ago, to now being a home-based, multi-million dollar coaching company, I learned the real meaning of fear and what to do when I feel it.
Let me share with you 3 key tips that will help you achieve your goals so you can fulfill your desire to have a financially and spiritually successful business, even when fear tries to capture you in its grip.
Tip #1: The Real Meaning Of Fear Is This…
Anytime you’re stepping up into a new level of success with your business, you’re bound to trigger fear. Reason is, fear flows from an ancient part of you that wants everything to stay exactly the same. Of course, that’s not possible but trying to reason with fear is like reasoning with a toddler.
What I do when I feel fear is celebrate it! Understand that it’s simply a part of the natural process of growth. Look at it this way: if you’re not feeling fear about taking action with your business then the action probably isn’t big enough for you.
Tip #2: Ask Yourself, “What’s The Worst That Can Happen?”
The power of fear lies in its ability to get you to spookily imagine all sorts of yucky things happening. But if you pinpoint what’s the worst that can happen, then create an idea of how you would handle that situation if it did happen (which is unlikely, anyway) then you’re going to relax and feel more confident about moving forward.
Tip #3: Ask The Fear, “What Is Its Positive Intention?”
This may be a little whoo-whoo for you but truly, the fear has a positive intention for you. All you need to do is ask what it is, then listen and within seconds you’ll have the answer.
Once you have the answer you can choose other ways of honoring that intention that still allow you to move forward in a bold and powerful way. This practice removes all of the conflict or fight that feeling fear can trigger and replaces it with a sense of compassion, honor and respect. This is the Divine Feminine Way.
You Have The Power To Choose The Purpose Fear Can Serve In Your Business
By choosing to see fear as serving a purpose you demystify it, robbing it of its power and thus allowing your REAL power to flow through you unimpeded, as it’s meant to.
So, whatever that next big step forward is for you with your business — whether it’s raising your fees, joining a high end master mind, redesigning your business model or perhaps hiring an assistant — remember this: as long as your desire to achieve what you want is greater than your fear, let any feelings of fear serve to confirm you’re on the right path.

So I decided to try to take advantage of all the different classes my gym offers, and tried a Step aerobics class this morning.
I figured “Easy, right? I’ve done step before!” And I did, but it was like NINE years ago. Apparently things have changed in the step world, because about 5 minutes into the class, the teacher and all the regulars were flying all over the bench and twisting and turning like a tornadoes and I was tripping over the bench trying to keep up. (Seriously, I wish I had a video for you. It was kinda hysterical.)
And my first thought was “Okay, this is more difficult than I thought” and I tried REALLY HARD to follow along and get it. My second thought was “I’m going to be at Step aerobics EVERY DAY until I MASTER it and become the BEST DAMN STEPPER EVER!!!”
Aergh. I recognized my competitive streak popping up, so I dialed it back a little. I thought “Wait, what’s my GOAL here? My goal is to get in killer physical shape.” Well, every trainer I’ve ever worked with has told me to do a combination of weights and interval cardio training to get the best results from my workout. So why the hell did I need the M.C. Escher-like combinations in step aerobics?
And I did something I’ve NEVER done before…I gave myself permission to say “Screw it!” and leave the class before it was over and hit the treadmill for sprints.
